A Day in the Life of a College Student

The Admissions Office, Student Life, and the Office of Social Justice, Inclusion, and Conflict Resolution of Rowan University are pleased to announce our annual “A Day in the Life of a College Student” program. This exciting program will run Wednesday, January 29th - Thursday, January 30th, 2019.

We recognize that one of the issues facing minoritized or marginalized students when considering higher education is exposure to the college environment. “A Day In the Life of a College Student” will provide high school students with the opportunity to experience Rowan University first hand!  Students will be paired with a current Rowan University student, stay overnight in his/her residence hall, attend college classes and participate in many other planned college activities.

This program is geared for high school Seniors of color who are academically talented and can potentially benefit from spending time on a college campus. Students selected will be invited to travel to Rowan and stay with a host student throughout the program.

So you’re thinking, “That’s great, how can I help?”   First, please share this information with prospective students who may have shared an interest in attending Rowan University. Then, by November 29th, please complete this form to recommend students for A Day in the Life of a College Student.

    Registration is no longer available.
