ABOUT MILAN WHETSTONE
Hi, I’m Milan Whetstone, I grew up and currently reside in Sicklerville, NJ. I am currently the Assistant Director of Admissions for Pathway Programs and a proud Rowan University graduate from the Class of 2011. I am a first-generation college graduate. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. Since joining Rowan’s admissions team in 2021, I’ve been passionate about helping students and families navigate the admissions process with confidence because I know firsthand how exciting and challenging starting college can be.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy being a wife and mom, and I also dedicate time to Peaceful Minds Haven, where I help support wellness in our community and maternal mental health.
What makes me #RowanPROUD is how Rowan feels like family. Rowan has blessed me with my degree, my job, my husband, and lifelong friends that have turned into family! It’s a place to conquer goals and create memories that last forever. Everyone will find community and feel comfortable here!
